Festive Nordic Reindeer

Reindeer handmade for the season! I used sticks gathered from a family member's backyard for the legs, antlers and necks, homespun cotton for the bodies and heads, purchased eyes and noses from a craft store, jute twine, and bows and bells for accents.

    LOVE the Nordic reindeer! Absolutely darling and much more natural looking than the ones usually found in the store. It helps, I'm sure, that the sticks are actual sticks gathered from outside. It makes a difference.

    These creative Nordic reindeer bring the heart of Scandinavia close to home and brightens the winter season! So many Scandinavian crafts are made with bits and pieces of ribbon, fabric and outdoor materials...these are a perfect showing of such creativity!
